The ninth edition of the VOICE IT youth forum is coming up. And this year, the event will be held on November 20 – World Children’s Day, on which the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted.
VOICE IT 2023 will be held under the title “What students want” and will focus on three topics important to young people:

#Curriculum
#SportIZhealthyEating
The event is organized by the National Network for Children together with the “Megafon” Youth Network and in partnership with Lidl Bulgaria and, as every year, will give children the opportunity to express their opinion on issues important to them and participate in solving problems. VOICE IT 2023 will also be held with the support of UNICEF Bulgaria and Project “ENROLL – engaging youth and adults in civil activism in the field of the rule of law at the local level”, supported by USAID and Dexis.
The forum will again have a discussion format and will be broadcast with a direct live stream on the Facebook page of the National Network for Children.
YOUTH AND POLITICIANS IN GENERAL CONVERSATION
Celebrities, politicians and representatives of the institutions will participate in the conversation on the topics to share their point of view on the topics and together with the youth from the “Megaphone” Program to discuss all the challenges and all the possible solutions. With us again will be experts from NNC, psychologists, teachers, lawyers, boys and girls from schools from Sofia and the country, etc., who will have the opportunity to express their opinion.
The forum will be opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Academician Nikolay Denkov. The moderator of the discussions will be journalist and popular vlogger Flora Stratieva. Experts from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Ministry of Health will be involved in the discussions with the youth.
Part of the VOICE IT 2023 program will also be a fun quiz in which young people will ask provocative questions to politicians and experts.
THE SKILLS OF THE FUTURE
The participants and guests of the forum will be able to learn what the skills of the future are, what opportunities for early career guidance the fast-moving trade provides and be inspired by the experience of participants in the youth programs of Lidl Bulgaria – the main partner of the event this year and a company with a Certificate ” A friend of the child”.

Thanks to the ENROLL project, VoiceIt 2023 will put a special focus on the topic of child and youth participation as a guarantor of the rule of law in Bulgaria.
