Kaloyan Damyanov is part of the National Institute for Education and Inclusive Policies and the Regional Center for Support of the Inclusive Education Process in Sofia. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2016, Kaloyan was chairman of the National Association of Special Education Teachers, as well as director of the Resource Center Sofia – city.
Kaloyan has a doctorate in Special Pedagogy. He holds a Master’s degree from Ca Foscari University in Venice and a Master’s degree in economics and social work, as well as an exchange internship at the US State Department for the Promotion of Democracy and Civic Participation. Kaloyan teaches at three universities and has numerous publications in the field of educational policies, social inclusion and school inclusion.
He was elected a member of the Supervisory Board of the National Network for Children and its chairman in June 2015.
