Alexandrina Dimitrova has been working at the Cedar foundation since 2012 and has been its executive director since 2015. She became a member of the Board of Directors of the National Network for Children in 2023.
Cedar is an organisation with extensive experience in the field of deinstitutionalisation and in providing quality social services for disadvantaged children and young people. Alexandrina works for the sustainable development of the organisation, advocacy, the development and improvement of programs, and the establishment and maintenance of long-term relationships with corporate and individual donors. She believes that the managerial experience accumulated over the years will be beneficial to NNC both in terms of internal processes in the organisation – motivation and support for the team and member organisations, and in terms of raising the profile of the organisation outside the field, reaching new audiences, and attracting partners. She has personally represented the NNC in working groups with Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and at Eurochild events with organisations from Europe and representatives of the EC (European Commission).
Alexandria is ranked in Forbes’ “30 under 30” and Darik Radio’s “40 under 40”.
