Rositsa Petrova graduated in English Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”. She has a master degree in “Management of social services for children and youth ” from the University of Plovdiv “Paisii Hiledarski” and “Management and development of human resources” from NBU.
She has worked in several non-governmental organizations, at the Municipality of Plovdiv as a director of Complex for social services for children and families and in the team of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria. She has over 20 years of experience in managing organizations, teams and processes. Since 2015 she has been the director of the Foundation Worldwide Orphans Bulgaria (WWO) , a capacity-building organization with a network of over 25 local partners that implement a program “The Game Element” in vulnerable communities. WWO believes in the transforming power of play and the right of every child to play and fully develop.
