Mila Tashkova has extensive experience working with the National Network for Children (NNC), both as part of the Secretariat team and as a representative of a member organisation. For three years, she was a member of the NNC Secretariat – a period during which she gained in-depth knowledge of the processes, dynamics, and responsibilities within the Network.
As Executive Director of the Association Child and Space, Mila actively works on issues related to social services for children, young people, and their families. Together with her team, she has repeatedly drawn on the strength of the network community for advocacy and for changing ineffective or restrictive policies.
Mila believes that her combination of internal insight into the work of the Secretariat and her active role in a member organisation will allow her to contribute to objectivity, transparency, and good governance within NNC as a member of the Supervisory Board.
