Antoaneta Yankabakova is the Executive Director of the YMCA Association and is ready to share her 35 years of professional experience in the non-governmental sector with her colleagues on the Management Board and the members of the National Youth Forum (NYF) network.
“Inspire others to serve, and serve to inspire” is part of her personal credo, defining her both as a person and as a professional. She believes that child and youth participation are among the highest priorities and represent one of the most effective ways to build and encourage active and responsible citizens of Bulgaria, Europe, and the world.
In this regard, Antoaneta Yankabakova believes she can contribute ideas for the further development of the Megaphone Programme and support its establishment as a national programme for developing young leaders.
She also believes that her extensive experience in developing social services for children and families, as well as in piloting and introducing innovative community-based services, would be of great value.
As a responsible, communicative, and dialogue-oriented professional, Antoaneta Yankabakova is confident that she can contribute to the effective work of the Management Board, as well as to successful cooperation between the Board, the member organisations of the National Youth Forum, and various stakeholders.
