Alexandrina Dimitrova has been working at Cedar Foundation since 2012 and has served as its Executive Director since 2015. She joined the Board of the National Network for Children in 2023 and has been its Chair since June 2026.
Cedar Foundation is an organization with extensive experience in the field of deinstitutionalization and the provision of high-quality social services for children and young people in vulnerable situations. Alexandrina is committed to the organization’s sustainable development, advocacy efforts, the enhancement and expansion of its programmes, and the establishment and maintenance of long-term relationships with corporate and individual donors.
She believes that the management experience she has gained over the years will contribute to the National Network for Children both in terms of strengthening its internal processes—by motivating and supporting the team and member organizations—and by increasing the organization’s visibility beyond the sector, reaching new audiences, and attracting new partners. She has personally represented the National Network for Children in working groups at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, as well as at Eurochild events alongside organizations from across Europe and representatives of the European Commission.
Alexandrina has been recognized in Forbes Bulgaria’s “30 Under 30” ranking and Darik Radio’s “40 Under 40” ranking.
