Report Card 2012

‘REPORT CARD 2012: Assessment of The Implementation of State Commitments Towards The Children of Bulgaria’ is a unique report by the NNC – a full analysis of Bulgarian institutions work in key child-related areas – Child Rights, Family Environment, Education, Child Healthcare and Juvenile Justice.

An assessment of 44 government promises / commitments has been made in more than 100 page of analytical text (Bulgarian version, EN version below is a shortened one) following the template of a school book – with the note that instead of students, it is institutions that receive the school marks.

    Following the best practices in Iceland, the project aims to pilot comprehensive program of care in 3 countries – Bulgaria, Portugal, Cyprus in direction of recognition and empowerment of children and their parents and authorities leaving out the position of inert following the pattern of violence and initiate a process of self-awareness of personal own value of the youngest members of our society.
