The National Network for Children sent a letter to the Social Assistance Agency in line with information for expected changes in the methods of Community Support Centers. It was sent to Ivailo Ivanov, executive director of SAA, with copy to Eva Zhecheva, President of State Agency for Child Protection, Ginka Chavdarova, executive director of National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria and Tania Radochai, the Unicef Representative for Bulgaria.
With this letter we propose a wider discussion of methods, which to include representatives of different interested parties. Specifically we offer the formation of small working group of representatives of SAA, SACP, NAMRB, NNC, Coalition “Childhood 20205” and UNICEF Bulgaria who will consider and plan the organization of round table to debate current methods effectiveness. Key subjects during the event will be best practices in CSC work, practical challenges and possible resolutions and recommendations for their overcoming.
