We need to change our attitude towards problems and needs of people with disabilities and especially – children with rare and serious diseases. These people do not want to be regrettable. They want real opportunities to be provided so that they can participate equivalently in social life.
That was what Peter Lazarov, coordinator of the civil movement TODAY, said to the participants in the protest against the negligence of the state to children with rare and serious diseases. The protest was held on 17th May in front of the Ministry of Health. The occasion for the protest was the formal response to the deposited appeal to the institutions for urgent measures to support children with rare diseases.
