The National Network for Children (NNC) is proud to announce that the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) has joined the Certification Committee for the “Child-Friendly Company” Certificate. This partnership will enhance expertise and transparency in the evaluation process and contribute to even higher standards in awarding the certificate to companies that implement policies and practices supporting children and families in Bulgaria.
The “Child-Friendly Company” is the first certificate of its kind in the country, recognising responsible employers committed to the well-being of children and their families. Evaluation is based on clearly defined criteria, including:
-
Support for employees who are parents and their children;
-
Internal policies promoting equality, flexibility, and care;
-
Social engagement in child-focused causes;
-
Investment in sustainable initiatives with long-term impact.
What is the role of the Certification Committee?
The Committee is an independent body composed of leading experts in children’s rights, business, and sustainable development. It ensures objectivity, transparency, and professionalism in the evaluation and certification process.
With BBLF joining, the Certification Committee gains valuable business insight and strategic experience in corporate sustainability and responsibility.
Companies awarded the Certificate so far include:
-
A1 Bulgaria
-
Kaufland Bulgaria
-
DSK Bank
-
UniCredit Bulbank
The certificate is not only a recognition but also a responsibility. It strengthens the image of companies as socially responsible employers who believe that “What’s good for business is good for children.” If you believe that caring for children is an integral part of corporate responsibility, join the responsible companies and certify your company as a “Child-Friendly Company.” Become part of a community of employers combining business success with social commitment.
