The results of the report on child safety in Bulgaria, prepared by the European Child Safety Alliance (EuroSafe), were presented last month at the discussion meeting on Child Safety in Bulgaria and Europe – status and perspectives, UNICEF Bulgaria reported.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss concrete initiatives and best practices in child safety and to identify opportunities to improve the safety of Bulgarian children. The meeting was attended by representatives of the UNICEF, the SACP, National Network for Children General Department Protective Police, local authorities and NGOs, journalists, and the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria.
