From March 25 to 29, 2015 on a visit to the National Network For Children were Natalia Sichinski and Tatiana Danilesku, representatives of the Alliance of NGOs working for children and families in Moldova.
The visit aimed to present the work of the National Network for Children on key strategic priorities: placement of the child and the family at the center of public life, child and youth participation and development of the Network for Children and its members. The agenda of the visit included a presentation of the strategic and operational management of the organization, work on advocacy for better policies for children and families in our country, public campaigns that NNC conducted and work in support of the network’s members.
Special attention was given to the policies and rules for child protection in the organization and participation of the National Network for Children in approbation of development of a mechanism for the implementation of the 6 principles of the OAK Foundation: the best interests of the child, child participation, “do no harm”, “based on the rights of children”, “building on the strengths” and non-discrimination.
Guests of Moldova had the opportunity to meet representatives of the Board of the National Network for Children, organizations – members, the Secretariat, the Agency for Social Assistance and the State Agency for Child Protection.
The visit was in the context of the efforts of the Alliance of NGOs from Moldova to increase their capacity.
