„House of Children“ is a project of National Network for Children, launched in 2016. The initiative aims creation of a modern and one-of-a-kind space that will be a center for training and developing skills which our children will need to be successful people and leaders in the future. The house will also be a place for events and exchange of ideas of all 140 member organizations of the Network, which work for the welfare of Bulgarian children. „House of Children“ will provide an active and developing environment for children of different groups, ages, families and interests. It will be open to children from all over the country and will be a public place where children and adults learn and work together to support and uphold children’s rights.
When built, the House will be managed as a social enterprise and this will guarantee sustainability over time and the opportunity for young people, leaving home or foster care, to work and train in work skills.
At present „House of Children“ already has a building permit.
