The municipalities want further 50 million leva for schools and kindergartens

The municipalities want from the state around 50 million leva additionally, most of which will go for children’s support money. This was announced by the executive director of the municipalities association Ginka Chavdarova in front of “Mediapool”. As a whole, the municipalities budgets remain in the same amounts as this years ones. The transfer from the state next year is almost without change -2,143 billions leva with an increase of 6,8 million leva. Half of this amount – over 1.2 billion leva goes for the municipal schools. Apart from education, additional money will be directed for health and culture. The municipalities insist on more money to be granted for food, sport, health and out of class activities.
