After an emergency meeting of the Public Council of The Center “Fund for treatment of children” it became clear that there were approved applications of four children, who will be treated abroad for a total of 177 000 lv., informs dariknews.
Two of the children will be treated abroad for the first time, and the other two will continue their treatment, reported the Health Department.
The last regular meeting of the Public Council of the Fund was held earlier this month. During the meeting the applications of 76 children were reviewed, 54 of which were approved.
The treatment of 12 children was postponed due to the need of obtaining additional observations and the applications of ten kids were refused because they did not meet the requirements.
