The National Network for Children (NNC) has proudly joined the Bulgarian Diversity Charter, a national initiative of the Bulgarian Forum of Business Leaders and the Centre for the Study of Democracy. The Charter brings together organisations that share the values of inclusion, equality, and respect for diversity.
By signing the Charter, NNC commits to implementing policies that promote diversity and equal opportunities—regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, physical ability, or religion. The Charter is part of the European platform of Diversity Charters and aims to foster social inclusion and inclusive practices in the workplace.
Joining the Charter complements our initiative, the “Child-Friendly Company” Certificate, which recognises companies that support the children and families of their employees. Both initiatives put people at the centre—through workplace diversity in the case of the Charter, and through concrete family-friendly practices in the case of the Certificate.
For us, this is not just a declaration of values—it is a practical step towards creating a fairer and more sustainable working environment, where the well-being of children and support for families are a strategic priority.
