Roma families become foster parents

200 families from the Plovdiv neighborhood Stolipinovo attended courses for parenting skills thanks to the first Family Consultative Centre funded by operational programme “Development of human resources”. The project totals 211 083, 71 leva and is implemented by “Roma” foundation in partnership with “For our children” and the Municipality of Plovdiv.
For a bit more than a year the centre supported 62 children from abandonment, 12 children are in process of reintegration to their birth families and 9 are in process of approval for foster families. 75 young people also took part in the project through attending courses for family planning.
