Meetings with young people started to consult “Report Card 2015: What is the average score of State’s care for children? They aim to let us know how actually children and young people evaluate State’s commitments to them and whether they resolve child development problems.
Key advocacy recommendations and problems of National Network for Children’s work are accepted or rejected during the meetings as well as are searched children recommendations, regarding their life.
12 youths from the Club of NGOs – Targovishte gathered on February 12, 2015 in Targovishte. We discussed with them subjects, regarding child poverty, child participation, health and education.
The young people shared that it is important to pay attention on problems when they are small, before they get big. They believe that child opinion should be asked in available for youths way.
Meeting will be organized with young people from Youth Tolerance – Gorna Oriahovitsa Association on February 20, 2015, followed by other 4 in Sofia and the country. Children and young people opinion will be shared during Report Card’s official presentation.
The Report Card’s consulting process is part on National Network for Children’s comprehensive work to build a model of child and young people participation, a part of its 2015 – 2020 Strategy.
