The purpose of this competition is to provide financial support to civil society organisations working with child protection professionals or working directly with children most in need in the target countries to implement projects or activities in the field of prevention and protection of children from different forms of violence, as well as awareness raising activities on violence against children.
The call is aimed at NGOs working at national and local level or in remote areas, as well as organisations with advocacy capacity in the country.
The projects supported by this competition are expected to improve the development of child rights-based activities and services that incorporate children’s views and perspectives to address violence against children.
More about this opportunity and detailed documentation (in Bulgarian) here.
The National Network for Children is the focal point for Bulgaria for this DAPHNE-CHILD project. We would like to draw the attention of the Bulgarian organisations to the fact that in order to receive feedback from interested organisations, the initiators of the project have made changes to the eligibility conditions for applying NGOs. The requirement for organisations to have a minimum of 11 full-time staff will be reviewable within each specific project proposal to allow more organisations the opportunity to participate, even if this particular criterion is not met. Thus, smaller local branches of national organisations that work locally with small teams but are part of a national organisation will also be eligible.
Join the information meeting and ask your questions on the application stages and conditions.
