Encouragingly, members in Bulgaria and Spain report that their governments are establishing strong cooperation with civil society to mitigate this risk. For example, at the request of the Ministry of Education, NNC Bulgaria is developing webinars for Bulgarian teachers working with Ukrainian children on dealing with trauma and how to talk about the war.

The simple answer to this question is yes, a person with autism spectrum disorder can live independently as an adult. However, not all individuals achieve the same level of independence. The focus of intervention services is to help the individual achieve their highest possible level of independence, and that won’t look the same for everyone.

National Network for Children has launched a different donation campaign
In 2021, National Network for Children celebrated 15 years of united efforts for a happy childhood.
A joint research from Eurochild and UNICEF proves that comparability on children in alternative care is possible across Europe, and should be incorporated into the monitoring of the Child Guarantee.
