National Network for Children has announced the start of the nominations for the traditional annual Golden Apple Awards for contributing to the well-being of children and families in our country, which are being held for the twelfth time in a row.
Today, in times of war and global crisis at all levels, we need people and organizations that support children and families through their civic activism. The mission of the Golden Apple Awards is to draw public attention to them and to promote their good example.
For the first year, the nominations for all categories: Children’s Hero, Children’s Organization, Hospital, School and Kindergarten, Municipality, Journalist, Benefactor, are open to the general public and everyone can offer participants in the competition.
Nominate worthy individuals, institutions and organizations HERE. Fill in and send the electronic forms with the nominations by April 25, 2022.
“Until now, the nominations in most categories were made by the member organizations of the Children’s Network. “We decided to open the competition to include a wider range of individuals and organizations in the competition and to establish the Golden Apple as a national symbol of childcare,” said Maria Brestnichka, Network Development Director.
The selection of winners for the categories Hero of Children and Children’s Organization will be made after online voting. The winners in the other categories will be selected by an expert jury and will be announced on the eve of Children’s Day – June 1.
