On February 14, the NNC launched a competition for schoolchildren projects “My participation – a right or on obligation” under the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science “Participate and modify”. The purpose of the contest is to encourage children and youth creative ideas to build a partnership between young and adults and the implementation of freedom of opinion and participation of children (Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the UN).
The competition is aimed at all schoolchildren between the ages of 14 and 18 years. Projects may be submitted by formal and informal groups of students. The collected conceptual designs will pass first through a jury, then the best ten ideas will be voted on Facebook. The result will classifiy three preliminary project. The ten projects that have reached the final stage of the competition will receive a certificate of participation, and the first three the support of the National Network for Children in realizing their ideas. Voluntarily, they will be able to participate in youth activities of the NNC.
The three best conceptual design will be announced on the website and the Facebook page of NNC on April 30, 2013
