The National Network for Children (NNC) is now part of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) family – an association of organizations with shared values – socially responsible business, led with transparency and ethics. The Forum is a platform for networking and best practices. The Network was introduced at the “New Members Introduction” event, which welcomed the newly joined companies and organizations to the responsible business community.
At this first meeting of the new business season, the Membership certificates and the Business Ethics Standard were presented to the newest members. NNC also accepted its Certificate. We believe that our partnership with the companies in the BBLF network will provide us with a new arena to advocate for important policies for children and enable us to work with businesses on socially responsible and sustainable practices that affect the well-being of parents and children in our community.
“We at NNC are fighting to ensure that every child in Bulgaria can go to the doctor when they need to and receive quality medical and social care. Every single child who needs support to choose what to study and where to develop should get it. So that children with talents can safely participate in international competitions and win Olympiads. For every child to be protected from violence. We believe, however, that for this to happen, the efforts of one person, one organization or one institution are not enough – a community is needed. We joined the BBLF because we believe that this is the place to develop a business community that is committed to the well-being of every child in Bulgaria. Today’s event and the focus that each of the companies put on children and sustainable development when presenting their work shows that we are in the right place,” said Maria Brestnicka from the National Network for Children when presenting the certificate.
Traditionally, a raffle with products, services, promotional items and giveaways from member organizations is organized during the regular BBLF events. NNC gave away the “Notebook 2023” annual report and our charity bracelet.
