In the period 25 – 27 June 2012 the General Meeting of the largest European network working for children and families-Eurochild, was held. Representatives from Bulgaria were George Bogdanov, executive director of the National Network for Children and Board member of Eurochild, Ivanka Shalapatova, director of the Foundation For our Children, Elena Manasieva, a specialist Social Activities at the Institute for social Activities and Practices. During the formal session of the General Assembly 28 new members were adopted. Two of them were Bulgarian organizations – Foundations Animus and Karin Dom. Thus the number of Bulgarian organizations, members of Eurochild, increased to six.
