Teach for Bulgaria’s mission is to provide equal access to quality education for every child of Bulgaria, regardless of their place of residence, school, ethnicity and socio-economic status. For achieving this goal, the organization attracts and carefully selects motivated and experienced professionals with successful achievements in different fields. In the course of the two-year program for professional and leadership development, they receive quality training and support to work as teachers of students in vulnerable areas all around Bulgaria. The organization builds a strong community of current teachers, alumni and key partners from distinct fields, with the goal of making a long-term change and providing access to quality education for every Bulgarian child.

Teach for Bulgaria was created by the initiative and with the financial support of The America for Bulgaria Foundation. It is also part of the global network for expanding educational opportunity Teach for All.
