The mission of National Scouts Organization of Bulgaria (http://scoutbg.org) is to contribute to the development of the physical, spiritual, intellectual and social qualities of the young person. To help building up a better world where people are responsible and play a constructive role in the society.
This is achieved with the use of the so called “Scout method”.
The scout method is 4-fold:
– Scout law and promise
– Learning through experience
– membership in small groups (patrols) where under the guidance of the grown-ups, the children and youngsters learn how to take responsibility, be independent, form a character, acquire competence, self confidence and ability to lead and in the same time be lead.
– social engaged programs of different nature, depending on the interests and the abilities of those that participate
