Members

Demetra Association is a non-governmental organization created in 1997 in Burgas. The main purposes of the organization are:

1. Help forming and performing public politics in the social sphere, healthcare, education, culture, ecology and sport based on established priorities and needs
2. Development and improvement of social strategies and practices;
3. Work to involve disadvantaged youngsters, elderly people and families to society;
4. Identification, protection and lobbying to work and apply politics for young people;
5. Improve the quality of professional education and qualification for different groups of professionals;
6. Helping the process of integration of minorities in the Bulgarian society;
7. Achieving gender equality as a main and inseparable part of the economic, social and democratic development
