Who are we?
Caritas Ruse is a NPO registered for community service № 20031112013. Caritas Ruse was started in 1992 and works to make a better world for the poor and wronged ones on the territory of North Bulgaria. The organization has structures in 4 locations in the Nikopol province /North Bulgaria/.
Main values and principles:
The way of Caritas Ruse is based on the social study of the Catholic Church which is based on the dignity of the human being.
Caritas Ruse encourages and supports the participation of the community, the donors, partners, volunteers and the hired staff in all aspects of the realized programs so they can be their possession and give them the opportunity for growth.
Caritas Ruse encourages and develops partnerships with other NPOs, local and state power and media, on shared vision about solidarity, addressed to the people in need and to the common cases of suffering and injustice.
Main topics and directions of work:
– Fight human trafficking
– Child justice
– Social and health services for children with disorders
– Social and health services for elderly people
– Disaster assistance and humanitarian aid

The activity of the organization is managed by the Administrative office where managers and experts work.
