“Bulgarian Child” Foundation is associated with Bulgarian Child Inc. Foundation (www.bulgarianchild.org), registered in the USA as a non-profit organization created to help institutionalized and poor children in Bulgaria.
The foundation mainly works with children in social institutions, providing extra personnel and humanitarian aid in homes. In many cases it provides performing surgeries and medical care for the children.
It also provides shoes and clothes, food, heating fuel, school materials, finances to repair and renovate old equipment, installations and solar panels, washing machines and many others.
“Bulgarian Child” foundation is building up a center for girls to live and study, who have left specialized institutions because of age, and girls at risk. The educational center “Borovtsi”, Borovtsi village, Berkovitsa region, starts accepting youngsters in January 2012.
