Legal Aid Network, part of National Network for Children, is organizing a web conference for the second year in a row, with a topic “COVID-19 and children’s rights”.
The conference will be held online on December 1 and 2, 2021 (Wednesday and Thursday), from 14:00 to 16:00. The event will be broadcast live on the Facebook page of National Network for Children.
The forum will again bring together lawyers and experts in the field of children’s rights from all over the country, and will discuss current issues and cases from the practice of the participating experts.
The main two thematic areas of the web conference cover children’s health (including protection from violence) and children’s education in the context of the continuing severe epidemic situation in the country and the various measures related to it.
The success of last year’s Legal Aid Network initiative motivated the NNC to turn the legal conference into an event on its annual calendar.
The response from the forum aroused wide lecture interest in this year’s event, as participation was confirmed by over twelve leading experts in the field of children’s rights in our country.
Topics in the program include: “Proportionality of measures against COVID-19 to children’s rights”, “Crisis in crisis – protection of the rights of children affected by violence in a pandemic”, “Social isolation as a weapon in parental conflict” and others.
