On 28 of June in Brussels was held a Symposium of European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) that questioning “Is Europe doing enough to protect fundamental rights”.
The programme included presentation of the FRA’s 2017 Fundamental Rights Report based on both achievements and remaining areas of concern and two panels discussing on the safety of migrant children and on the poverty and the social exclusion of the children in EU.
The accent was child and youth participation. One day before the juveniles were working on the topics of the panels and during the event they were actively expressing opinions and making comments. Young people and experts from National Network for Children presented Bulgaria on the event.
