In a municipality in Bulgaria there is already a baby placed in foster familiy, abandoned children with disabilities who are reared by foster parents and families who have continued to look after the same abandoned children for over 5 years.
This municipality is Razgrad. There are 23 foster families there. For comparison: in the capital of Bulgaria,Sofia, foster families are about 30, in Plovdiv – 15 as they are in Rousse.
In the municipality of Razgrad there is a voluntary foster family and 22 occupational foster families. The occupational foster families receive both financial support for rearing the child and wage for their work.
