George Bogdanov Made Working Visit To Poland On June 27-28th, 2013

George Bogdanov, Executive Director of the National Network for Children made a working visit to Poland on June 27th and 28th, 2013. There he met the Polish Ombudsman for Children Mr. Marek Michalak, employees of the Polish Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and representatives of non-government organizations, working for children.

The visit was organized by the Polish Embassy in Bulgaria and was designed to explore the practices of Poland in child protection and the existing family policy in the country. The home for children of Janusz Korczak was also visited where its activity and Janusz Korczak works were presented. The anniversary of Korczak’s birth was celebrated in 2012.
