RoboBraille is a free online service capable of converting documents into a variety of alternate formats including audio books, e-books, digital large print and Braille. The service can also be used to convert otherwise inaccessible or tricky documents into more accessible formats.
Our primary users are people with a visual impairment, reading impairment, cognitive disability or learning disorder as well as the teachers, relatives, caretakers, social workers and others supporting those with special needs. However, as an inclusion technology users in the mainstream are also welcome to use RoboBraille.
Our overall agenda is to promote independence and self-sufficiency of those with special needs in order to support inclusion in mainstream education, on the labour market and socially.
