The National Network for Children, together with the Institute for Social Activities and Practices will organize on October 7th, 2014, final round table in the frame of the project “Alternatives for the detention of young offenders – development of programs for intensive and specialized foster care”, funded by DAPHNE III programme.
The event will be held in Sofia in Park Hotel Moscow at 10:00 AM and will include partners from the UK, Italy and Hungary. A set of recommendations for the development of national policies in the field of juvenile justice will be presented.
The project is implemented by the British Association for Adoption and Fostering (BAAF) in partnership with 7 organizations and 3 associates, including the Municipality of Sofia. The main objective of the project is to develop a model for good practice for program for intensive and specialized foster care for young offenders with the active participation of young people, who were detained for offenses.
