To inform the new European Union Strategy on the Rights of the Child and the Child Guarantee, Eurochild, UNICEF, Save the Children, World Vision International and Child Fund have launched an online survey for children and young people.
The survey, which takes about 20 minutes to respond, invites children to share their experiences and their priorities for making Europe a better a better place for children. The survey is available in more than 14 languages and will be open until 30 October 2020. The data collected is completely anonymous.

Children’s views will be compiled into a report that will be shared with the European Commission at the end of November. With children’s input, both the Guarantee and the Strategy will be launched in early 2021.
Social Media:
This is a crucial opportunity for children to shape the future of Europe – and we would like to ask your support by sharing it within your networks! In doing so, you can use visuals, alongside with the sample message below (that you can tweak) and these hashtags: #MyEuropeMyRights #EUchildrights. Here you can find the social media toolkit.
Example: Are you 11 to 17 years old? Do you want to make a difference for children in #Europe? Make your voice heard by responding to our survey by 30 October to inform the #EU strategy on child rights! bit.ly/EU-child-rights #MyEuropeMyRights #EUchildrights
Child Focus Groups:
Furthermore, a child focus group questionnaire has been developed for organisations which have the opportunity to consult directly with children. If you are interested, please inform Mieke Schuurman.
