In 2011 For Our Children helped over 160 children to remain with their families and not be abandoned in institutions. The foundation organized a massive informational campaign for foster care and held several events for children and families. That was the year of innovation for the team of the Foundation. For Our Children made a very important step to establish a partnership with the Bulgarian Institute for Human Relations at the New Bulgarian University and also to collaborate with the world leader in Foster Care Core Assets. The organization managed to create the first center in Bulgaria for foster care, financed entirely by the corporate sector.
