7 children were killed and 293 were injured in road accidents from the beginning of 2012

7 children were killed and 293 were injured in road accidents from the beginning of the year till 31st May. This was reported by the Inspector from the General Direction “Police” Mary Boteva during the ceremony of presenting monetary assistance to children, injured in road accidents, provided by the Red Cross. Statistic shows that since the beginning of the year till 63 accidents involving children have occurred. This war on the roads must cease. We have no right to lose more children in this war on the roads.
