The Ministry of Education and Science launches new model of school inspection at the amount of 1 million lev. The project aims to introduce new line in the classrooms and to control the quality of education, the newspaper “Trud” announced in its publication.
The project starts in September and will complete in April next year. It will include 360,000 students from 15 municipalities who will give opinion on their teachers by the completion of questionnaires. Their parents will also fulfill them. Inspectors who will score the schools will work from 3 to 5 days in every educational institution. They will write evaluating notes from 0 to 5. The schools, which show poor results, will have the possibility to repair them in 6 months to 1 year. However, those who receive an excellent rating will be exempt from the inspection in the next five years.
The idea is every school to be appraised according to its characteristics, but to ensure that it provides quality education.
