In Pavlikeni 264 children at risk will benefit from the project, reported the municipality administration. The funding is worth € 221,525 and it’s provided by the program “Children and youth at risk” of the European Union.
The project will include children at the age from 3 to 6, who are at risk of social exclusion due to poverty or poor preparation for school classes.
The project will train 174 children who do not speak Bulgarian language. 3,000 brochures with songs, stories, traditions and customs of the Roma community will be provided. Craft workshops will be prepared, as well as repairing of six kindergartens in urban areas of the municipality.
