We recommend programmes for early childhood education and care to include methods for children’s active involvement, to use the incentive of games as a fundamental form of activity , to monitor and evaluate of each child’s progress, with comparisons made with the child’s entry level.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of how the institutions involved in ‘the coordination mechanism for interaction at work in cases of children who are victims, or at risk of violence, and interaction in crisis intervention’, can collaborate to produce a document based on their experience and findings, which includes measures to prevent violence against children in educational institutions.
KEY Forum is an event which provokes and motivates young people to participate in causes and initiatives for the benefit of the society. The forum is a tool for stimulation of the free exchange of ideas, networking and civic engagement. It is an interactive platform for the implementation of organizations and individuals; their causes; the way they have walked and the success they have achieved.
National Network for Children participated in the working group for the development of the Partnership agreement and contributed to the texts of documents related to the status and measures to improve key areas related to children’s rights and welfare, such as education, health and deinstitutionalization.
We strongly support the provision of conditions to ensure the minimum standards of an inclusive environment for all children, i.e. accessibility, clean toilets, hot water, soap, changing rooms, gymnasiums, modern libraries with workplaces for self-study and group-work rooms and facilities for basic experimental work in natural sciences.
